Why all the sex scenes?
But otherwise, it captures a certain strain of silicon valley utopian futurism. What does post-scarcity look like and how does it work. I haven’t been to burning man, but I imagine Cory Doctorow has. It’s certainly fun to think about an ideal society.
Weird pacing in places. I wasn’t ready to jerk back and forth between characters. One huge development seemed to come out of nowhere about 25% of the way in (I don’t want to spoil anything). Very exciting finish. Overall, it kept my interest well.
