Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve read a Michael Crichton book and I’m reminded just how gripping it is. And he wrote it in med school! Based on the trailer, the movie looks hilarious.
One thing I find interesting about this book is that in the end, they needed to do nothing to avert disaster. Intervening could have caused a disaster. So often, complex system failures are like that.
