If I was judging this book as literature or traditional sci-fi, I’d give it a 3/5 for having such an unrealistic protagonist. Noone is is this optimistic. Noone would come up with this many breakthroughs on their own.
Like the Martian, this only makes sense as a series of science class story problems. But for what it is, I enjoyed it very much. If you like science and engineering, this is another easy read that you’ll enjoy.
