I highly recommend the audiobook. Bernie Sanders narrates the first third of the book (covering the campaign) and the concluding chapter. The second two thirds of the book is narrated by somebody else and goes into extreme depth on every issue in Bernie’s platform (inequality, healthcare, climate change, trade policy, social security, police brutality, etc.) It drags on and repeats itself, but achieves two main goals: (1) gives a first-hand account of Bernie’s 2016 campaign and (2) gives a very detailed description of Bernie’s platform.
To be honest I didn’t know much about him during the campaign, but after listening to this, I agree with the vast majority of what he wants to do.
