The first half is a series of tweet-length snippets capturing the feeling of being very online. The second half is the same style, but focused on a family medical emergency.

I think it was trying to convey the feeling of the chaos of the internet, of obsessing over details and never the whole picture, of whiplash from scrolling from one thing to the next.

But wow, the main character sucks. I can’t stand her. She eats expensive brunches and gets mad about everything. She and her friends are obsessed with being clever. She frequently feels bad about her social media habits, but at some point you have to take action, not just feel bad about it. If my friend or my child acted like she acts, I would be very alarmed.

I think you should watch Bo Burnham’s “Inside” instead. But then again, maybe I’ve changed and I just don’t like this genre anymore. I don’t use social media anymore.
