I head heard a lot about how good Sedaris’ books are, but the people I heard it from never seemed to get around to what the books are about. Even the back cover of this book is filled with quotes from critics. No description. So I read it. And it’s just stories from his life. From childhood up to a couple decades into his relationship. That’s it. But they’re good! They suck you in like This American Life, which turned out to make a lot of sense because he contributed a bunch to NPR.
Reading this will make you look at your own life in a more humorous light.
